End of an Era – Is it Goodbye to Elise & Exige this summer?

Sad to hear this news, but happy I currently own a 2006 Exige:

Toyota has ceased production of the 1.8L 2ZZ-GE motor, which powers the Elise and Exige in North America, meaning production of the highly popular Exige and Elise will come to an abrupt halt in July. To commemorate its superstars’ success, Lotus will send the cars off with an extremely limited number of Final Editions. They will be building 15 Elise SC final editions and 25 Exige S-260 Matte Black editions to commemorate the end of production.
